Comic idea credited to Snip! He always comes up with the bestest comics. We actually sort of saw this kind of on a walk; there was a duck paddling along down a shallow creek, and it visibly got its foot caught on some larger pebbles and basically staggered a bit. We joked about how maybe it stubbed its toe. And then today, we saw a muskrat! Also we saw it swim underwater into its secret lair! Nature is fascinating.
